Schooligio.ai is operated by Ivy Central FZ LLC (“Schooligio,” “Ivy Central,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Schooligio provides AI-powered college admissions, academic planning, and educational guidance tools for students, parents, counselors, independent educational consultants, schools, and other educational organizations.
We are committed to protecting the privacy, security, and confidentiality of students, families, educators, and institutional users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, how we protect it, and what rights and choices may be available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to Schooligio.ai, app.schooligio.ai, and related websites, applications, AI tools, communications, and services that link to this Privacy Policy, collectively referred to as the “Services.”
Where Schooligio processes student information on behalf of a school, school district, educational institution, counseling organization, or other institutional customer, we act as a service provider or processor and process that information only as instructed by the institution, our agreement with that institution, and applicable law. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and a signed Data Processing Agreement, Student Data Privacy Agreement, school contract, or institutional agreement, the signed agreement controls for the covered data.

This Privacy Policy applies to:
Students using Schooligio directly or through a school, counselor, parent, or educational institution.
Parents and guardians.
Counselors, independent educational consultants, teachers, school administrators, and institutional staff.

Some users may receive additional notices depending on the product, feature, jurisdiction, school agreement, or institutional arrangement that applies.
2. Our Core Privacy Commitments

We do not use student personal information for targeted advertising, behavioral advertising, or third-party marketing.
We do not use student personal information to train, fine-tune, or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
We do not permit third-party AI providers to use student personal information to train, fine-tune, or improve their own models.
We do not create commercial advertising profiles of students.
We use student information only for authorized educational, counseling, operational, safety, support, security, and compliance purposes.
Schools, institutions, parents, and eligible students retain applicable rights to access, correct, delete, or control student information as required by law and contract.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information.
Schooligio AI tools are designed to support human decision-making, not replace professional educational judgment.
We do not make admission, scholarship, disciplinary, eligibility, or similarly significant decisions solely by automated processing.
3. Definitions
“Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, can reasonably be associated with, or could reasonably be linked to an individual.
“Student Data” means Personal Information relating to a student that is provided to Schooligio by a student, parent, counselor, school, educational institution, or authorized user, or that is generated through use of the Services in an educational context.
“Education Records” has the meaning given under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, where FERPA applies.
“School” or “Educational Institution” means a school, school district, educational organization, tutoring organization, counseling organization, or other institution that contracts with or authorizes use of Schooligio.
“AI Inputs” means prompts, documents, questions, essays, activities, goals, academic information, student profile information, or other content submitted to Schooligio’s AI features.
“AI Outputs” means responses, recommendations, summaries, suggestions, plans, feedback, or other content generated by Schooligio’s AI features.
4. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of information.
A. Account and Profile Information
We may collect:
Name.
Email address.
Phone number, if provided.
Username or account credentials.
Role, such as student, parent, counselor, educator, administrator, or consultant.
School, organization, or counselor affiliation.
Grade level or graduation year.

We do not guarantee admissions outcomes, scholarship awards, academic results, financial aid outcomes, or any other specific result.
Users should review AI outputs for accuracy, appropriateness, and fit before relying on them.
We do not use Student Data or identifiable Personal Information to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models.
We require AI service providers that process data on our behalf to act as service providers or processors and not use Schooligio data to train, fine-tune, or improve their own models.
We do not use AI to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, such as college admission, scholarship eligibility, school discipline, or educational placement.
Where AI may assist with recommendations, the final decision remains with the student, family, counselor, consultant, school, institution, or other human decision-maker.
AI Safety and Quality
We work to reduce inaccurate, biased, unsafe, or inappropriate outputs through reasonable safeguards, which may include prompt design, monitoring, testing, access controls, content filtering, abuse detection, and user reporting tools.
Because AI systems can make mistakes, users should not submit emergency, crisis, medical, legal, or financial questions that require a licensed professional response.
8. Student Data and School-Controlled Information
Where Schooligio processes Student Data on behalf of a School or Educational Institution:
The School or Educational Institution controls the Student Data.
Schooligio processes the Student Data only to provide the contracted Services.
Schooligio follows the School’s documented instructions and applicable agreement.
Schooligio does not sell Student Data.
Schooligio does not use Student Data for targeted advertising or behavioral advertising.
Schooligio does not use Student Data to build commercial advertising profiles.
Schooligio does not use Student Data to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models.
Schooligio does not disclose Student Data except as authorized by the School, required to provide the Services, permitted by law, or required by legal process.
Parents and eligible students should generally direct FERPA or school-record requests to the applicable School or Educational Institution.
Schooligio may support Schools in responding to access, correction, deletion, export, or other privacy requests, subject to applicable law and contract.
9. FERPA
Where the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, or FERPA, applies, Schooligio may receive access to education-record information from a School or Educational Institution under the “school official” or outsourced-service framework. In that context:
Schooligio performs an institutional service or function for which the School would otherwise use its own employees.
Schooligio has a legitimate educational interest in the information only as needed to provide the Services.
Schooligio remains under the direct control of the School or Educational Institution with respect to the use and maintenance of education-record information.
Schooligio uses education-record information only for authorized educational purposes.
Schooligio does not redisclose education-record information except as permitted by FERPA, authorized by the School, or required by law.
Parents and eligible students seeking to inspect, review, amend, or exercise FERPA rights regarding education records should contact the applicable School or Educational Institution. Schooligio will reasonably assist the institution as required by applicable agreement.
10. COPPA and Children Under 13
Schooligio is designed for students, families, counselors, consultants, and educational institutions. Some users may be under 13.
Where the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, or COPPA, applies:
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 unless permitted by law, authorized by a School or Educational Institution, or supported by verifiable parental consent where required.
Where a School authorizes use of Schooligio for students under 13, the School may provide consent on behalf of parents where permitted by COPPA and only for educational purposes.
We use children’s Personal Information only to provide and support the Services, maintain safety and security, comply with law, and fulfill authorized educational purposes.
We do not use children’s Personal Information for targeted advertising.
We do not sell children’s Personal Information.
We do not condition a child’s participation on collection of more Personal Information than is reasonably necessary.
Parents may request to review, correct, or delete their child’s Personal Information by contacting the applicable School or, where Schooligio collected the information directly with parental consent, by contacting us at support@schooligio.ai.
If we learn that we collected Personal Information from a child under 13 in a manner not permitted by law, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information or obtain required consent.
11. Information Sharing
We may share information as described below.
A. With Schools, Counselors, Parents, and Authorized Users
We may share information with authorized users, such as parents, counselors, consultants, teachers, school administrators, or institutional staff, depending on account settings, institutional arrangements, and user permissions.
B. With Service Providers and Subprocessors
We may share information with vendors that help us operate the Services, such as:

Permit third-party AI vendors to use Student Data to train, fine-tune, or improve their models.
Create commercial advertising profiles of students.
Use dark patterns designed to pressure students into sharing unnecessary Personal Information.
Make admission, scholarship, disciplinary, or similarly significant decisions solely by automated processing.
13. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Students will not receive third-party targeted advertising based on Student Data.
We may still send service, account, security, legal, or transactional messages.

Do not submit information about another person unless you are authorized to do so.
